Background: Recently, the incidence of adnexal masses in pregnancy has increased, due to older age of childbearing and advances in imaging or higher ultrasonography routine uses. As a side effect, Ovarian torsion can happen in less than 1% of pregnancies and is more common on the right side.. case report: To share our experience of this rare situation, a case of ovarian torsion in 16 week pregnant woman due to a 15-cm adnexal mass, is going to be discussed here. its diagnosis and management is of high importance since, doing the right move at the right time is so crucial in preserving the ovary function while keeping the pregnancy safe and sound.
