Theoretical and Computational Evaluation of the Use of Molecular Nanoelectronic Technology in Targeted Monitoring of Electrical Brain Waves to Predict Some Neuro-cerebral Attacks

Abstract
Background and Objectives: Today, it is expected that by using molecular nanoelectronic, the symptoms emitted from neurons will be studied. Many studies show that abnormalities in the normal functioning of brain cells can lead to neurological attacks. One of the most common brain system defects is epileptic seizures. In this case, due to the electrical discharge of a group of neurons, the electrical threshold potential of the brain waves exceeds the normal state, which can cause seizures in the epileptic person. Predicting times close to brain-nerve attacks can cause prognosis in the patient.
 
Methods: In this study, several molecular systems (such as molecular wire, switch and memory)are proposed/designed to monitor brain's electrical signals. This molecular circuit can be used to predict times close to nerve attacks. In this regard, using quantum density function theory (DFT) some electronic properties of molecular systems studied in this work are studied.
 
Results: This study results shows that it is possible to conceptual design molecular systems (devices) with the ability to respond to brain waves. In this regard, a nanoelectronic circuit, with the ability to activate of its warning system at the time close to the onset of neuro-cerebral attacks (ON/OFF),is proposed.
 
Conclusion: Using molecular nanoelectronics knowledge, it is possible to design nano-medical devices (such as warning systems for neurological and cardiac attacks).In this regard, molecular  quantum theories (such as DTT) can be used. Such molecular devices can open new horizons in improving the quality of treatment and life of neurological patients.
