The aim of the present study was to compare the expression of emotion facial recognition in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and average people. Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional and ex-post facto investigation (causal-comparative method). Participants were twenty clients suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (clients referred to Tabriz Bozorgmehr Special Center) and 20 normal people which were selected through the available sample method. Data were collected through a structured clinical interview and the Recognition Emotion Facial States Test. Multivariate analysis of variance, Chi-square and independent t-test were conducted to analyze the data.
