The Effect of eight weeks of royal jelly consumption on some of apoptotic indicators in trimethyltin-induced Alzheimer's rats

Background & aim: Given that Royal Jelly contains compounds that have beneficial effects on the central nervous system and neural functions, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of Royal Jelly consumption on some of apoptotic characteristics in trimethyltin-induced Alzheimerchr('39')s rats
Methods: The present study was performed experimentally with 32 male rats; Twenty-four of them were were induced by Alzheimerchr('39')s trimethyltin. The rats were then randomly divided into four groups: healthy last week, victim control last week, sham and royal jelly. The expression of P53, BAX, BCL-2 genes were measured by Real Time PCR technique. Data analysis was performed by Manova test and post hoc Scheffe at the significant level P <0.05 using SPSS software version 20.
Results: The findings of the present study show that the P53 dependent variable in the Alzheimerchr('39')s group last week was higher than the healthy and the gel groups; and in shem group was more than gel and control healthy groups, And the BAX index in the gel group was lower than in Shem and Alzheimerchr('39')s last week groups, and in the control healthy group was lower than the Shem and Alzheimerchr('39')s last week groups ; And the BCL-2 in the gel group was more than shem, control healthy and Alzheimerchr('39')s last week group; And in the control healthy group was more than Sham and Alzheimerchr('39')s last week groups.
Conclusion: The administration of trimethyltin may be involved in selective neuronal death and mitochondrial apoptosis pathways in neurodegenerative disorders; And the use of Royal Jelly supplements may be used as a inhibitor in the intrinsic apoptotic pathway and to strengthen neural function and neuronal regeneration in the present model.
