تأثیر آموزش مؤلفه های هوش هیجانی بر استرس و اضطراب پزشکان و پرستاران شاغل در بخشهای مراقبتهای ویژه

زمینه و هدف: بخشهای مراقبتهای ویژه یکی از محیطهای پراضطراب برای کارکنان آن به خصوص برای پزشکان و پرستاران میباشد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تأثیر آموزش مؤلفههای هوش هیجانی بر استرس و اضطراب پزشکان و پرستاران شاغل در بخشهای مراقبتهای ویژه انجام شد.
روشبررسی: این مطالعه مداخلهای بر روی 106 پزشک و پرستار شاغل در بخش مراقبتهای ویژه انجام شد. افراد گروه مداخله 15 مؤلفه هوش هیجانی را آموزش دیدند. در این پژوهش از پرسشنامه10 سؤالی جمعیت شناختی، پرسشنامه 20 سئوالی اضطراب موقعیتی برگر، پرسشنامه 20 سئوالی اضطرابی شخصیتی برگر و پرسشنامه 133 سئوالی هوش هیجانی باراون قبل و بعد از مداخله استفاده شد. دادهها با استفاده از آزمونهای مجذور کای و تست تی تجزیه وتحلیل شدند.
یافتهها: میانگین امتیاز اضطراب موقعیتی گروه مداخله قبل از آموزش 59/46 بود که پس از اجرای آموزش به 95/39 کاهش یافت. میانگین امتیاز اضطراب موقعیتی گروه شاهد قبل از مداخله 32/44بود که در پس آزمون به 76/44 افزایش یافت. این یافتهها نشان میدهد قبل از مداخله تفاوت معنیداری بین دو گروه از نظر اضطراب موقعیتی وجود ندارد، در حالی که این تفاوت پس از مداخله معنیدار است(001/0=p).
نتیجهگیری: این مطالعه نشان داد که پرستاران و پزشکان استرس و اضطراب زیادی را تجربه میکنند و توانایی تأثیر گذاری آموزش مؤلفههای هوش هیجانی و اطلاعات مربوط به هوش هیجانی در محل کار میتواند در سازگاری با استرس و یا اضطراب شغلی تأثیر بسزایی داشته باشد.
Background & Aim: Intensive care units (ICUs) are recognized as stressful environments. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of emotional intelligence education items on job related stress on physicians and nurses who work in intensive care units at hospitals of Yerevan, Armenia.
Methods: A interventional study design was implemented with 106 registered hospital physicians and nurses, who were widely distributed all the way through. Case group was taught about 15 E.I items. For data collection, the 20-question Berger situational (overt) anxiety questionnaire, the 20-item personality (covert) anxiety questionnaire, and the Bar-on emotional intelligence questionnaire with 133 questions were used. Statistical descriptive methods, chi-square (X2) and t-tests were used to analyze data.
Results: The research achievements revealed that the average score of the case group`s situational anxiety was 46.59 before intervention, which decreased to 39.95 after the training of the items of emotional intelligence. The average score of situational anxiety of control group was 44.32 before intervention which increased to 44.76 after examination. There was a meaningful statistical difference between case and control group after education of emotional intelligence`s items (p=0.001).
Conclusion: Results of the current study showed that physicians and nurses experience high level of stress. The ability to effectively deal with emotion intelligence and emotional information in the workplace assists employees in coping with occupational stress and should be developed in stress managing trainings.
